Seriously enhancement shaman burst damage is every bit as good as retribution paladin,WOW Archaeology Items, if not better outside of wings.
and of course, bloodlust/shamanistic rage/spirit wolves that can all be front loaded first minute of the fight for an impossible to kill melee that does a ton of damage about wow items.
ranged root about wow items, instant heals/lightning bolts thanks to Maelstrom Weapon for burst/defense (in 3.2, they will be able to get instant hexs off for control),
