They're charging a markup on your ores. So, start smithing or goldsmithing yourself! Turn those ores into ingots, then turn the ingots into products (or just sell the ingots directly).
Mining can be a wonderful way to make money. If you sell the ores, you're just lining the smiths' or goldsmiths' pockets with gil.
